Recap: Philadelphia Tornadoes vs. Charleston Tigers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Philadelphia Tornadoes can now relate to. They were dealt a 44-14 defeat at the hands of Charleston on Friday. Philadelphia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.
Charleston found their leader in underclassman Marcus Flowers jr, who rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Philadelphia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Charleston, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Philadelphia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Charleston will face off against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Charleston likes a good challenge.
