Basketball Recap: Mulvane Takes a Loss

Mulvane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 72-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Circle Thunderbirds. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Thunderbirds from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Mulvane's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Circle, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Mulvane will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rose Hill at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Circle, they will challenge Augusta on Thursday. One thing working in Augusta's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
