It was a big day for Manuel 'Peanut' Chavarria on Tuesday as he got points on the board for the first time in his career. He posted two points, but sadly Bloomfield still had to take a 57-52 loss at the hands of Tohatchi. We hope Chavarria's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Chavarria and Bloomfield will face off against Cuba at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams swept Newcomb off the court in their last game, a feat they'll no doubt try to repeat.
