New Iberia kept a clean sheet against Westgate on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Westgate Tigers with a sharp 8-0 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

New Iberia has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five contests. As for Westgate, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

New Iberia has already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Comeaux on the 17th. As for Westgate, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Westgate challenge the St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
