Baseball Recap: Delta Rabbits vs. South Summit Wildcats
Delta can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the South Summit Wildcats with a sharp 8-2 win. The victory was just what Delta needed coming off of a 13-2 loss in their prior game.
Delta saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Nielson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Delta's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for South Summit, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.
Delta will be playing at home against Canyon View at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Summit, they are on the road again on Tuesday to play Morgan at 3:30 p.m.
