Football Recap: Davidson Warriors vs. Daphne Trojans
Davidson had lost four straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it five. They took a blow against the Daphne Trojans, falling 50-20. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Trojans are ranked 14th).
Davidson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kingston Butler, who picked up 138 receiving yards and one TD. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Spivey, who threw for 182 yards and one touchdown.

Davidson has already played their next matchup, a 15-14 victory against Robertsdale on the 10th. As for Daphne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 39-0 win against Bryant on the 10th.
