Northwest Whitfield came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the LaFayette Ramblers a 9-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bruins also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2019.

Northwest Whitfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for LaFayette, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Whitfield will welcome Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for LaFayette, they will host Adairsville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. LaFayette has given up an average of 2.7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
