Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They walked away with a 5-3 victory over the Burlingame Panthers on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

The win got Lincoln back to even at 2-2-2. As for Burlingame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Lincoln will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mt. Pleasant on January 3, 2025. Mt. Pleasant's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lincoln's offense will have their work cut out for them. After both having extra time off, Burlingame and San Mateo will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Burlingame is facing San Mateo at the right time seeing as San Mateo is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
