Volleyball Recap: Pender Pendragons vs. Homer Knights
Pender lost against Homer back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pender Pendragons came up short against the Homer Knights, falling 3-0. The Pendragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-6, 25-19, 25-12.
Despite the defeat, Pender saw an underclassman step up: Mattilyn Trimble had 11 digs.

Pender's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Homer, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.
Pender wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against North Bend Central on the 17th. As for Homer, they will face off against Randolph at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Randolph is coming into the game with nine straight victories on the road, so Homer will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
