Volleyball Recap: Groton Beats Sisseton for Their Fourth Straight Win

Groton entered their tilt with Sisseton on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Redmen by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory back in September.

Groton was led to victory by Jerica Locke and Sydney Locke. Jerica had nine digs and two assists, while Sydney had nine digs and one assist. That's the most assists Jerica has posted since back in September. McKenna Tietz also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Groton's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Sisseton, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Groton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sioux Valley on the 18th. As for Sisseton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Great Plains Lutheran on the 18th.
