West Mifflin waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Laurel Highlands Mustangs. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Jake Martina spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on James Moneck, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Wills, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

West Mifflin pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Laurel Highlands, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

West Mifflin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
