Napoleon hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against the Jackson Christian Royals by a score of 40-28 on Thursday.

When it comes to explaining why Jackson Christian lost, don't look at Rennie Huff. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. The match was Huff's eighth in a row with at least 18 points.

Napoleon's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Jackson Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.
