Baseball Recap: Monticello Comes Up Short

Monticello fell victim to South Sevier and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The defeat continues a trend for the Buckaroo in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost seven in a row.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for South Sevier, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Coming up, Monticello will be playing at home against Dolores at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Sevier, they will head out to square off against Manti at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
