Ellington is a perfect 9-0 against East Windsor since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Knights will host the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. Neither Ellington nor East Windsor posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Things were looking good for Ellington after they put the first run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Somers by a score of 2-1. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ellington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Killoran, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, East Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Suffield.

This is the second loss in a row for Ellington and nudges their season record down to 14-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for East Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

East Windsor's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Ellington hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. It's a different story for East Windsor, though, as they've only averaged .201. Will they be able to contain Ellington's hitters?

Everything went Ellington's way against East Windsor in their previous matchup back in April, as Ellington made off with a 12-0 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
