Basketball Game Preview: Papillion-LaVista South Titans vs. Lincoln Northeast Rockets

The Papillion-LaVista South Titans are taking a road trip to face off against the Lincoln Northeast Rockets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Papillion-LaVista South is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Papillion-LaVista South was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-49 to Lincoln High.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Northeast lost to Sioux City East at home by a 60-42 margin on Saturday.

Papillion-LaVista South's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Lincoln Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Papillion-LaVista South was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln Northeast in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 66-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Papillion-LaVista South since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
