Soccer Recap: Green Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Green was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the GlenOak Golden Eagles by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Green of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Green's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5-1. As for GlenOak, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Green didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Hudson on the 27th. As for GlenOak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Walsh Jesuit on the 25th.
