It was a good run, but Santa Cruz unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Harbor Pirates by a score of 3-2. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Santa Cruz's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 30-4. As for Harbor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Santa Cruz nor Harbor have any future games scheduled.
