Basketball Recap: Upper Arlington Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olentangy Liberty, Upper Arlington was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 55-49 W over the Hilliard Darby Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Bears also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Upper Arlington has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Hilliard Darby, they moved to 14-2 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Arlington will welcome Olentangy Orange at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Olentangy Orange knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Upper Arlington likes a good challenge. As for Hilliard Darby, they will be playing at home against Dublin Scioto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
