 Columbia City is 0-6 against Norwell since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Columbia City Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Norwell Knights at 9:30  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Norwell is hoping to do  on Tuesday what Fort Wayne North Side couldn't  on Monday: put an end to Columbia City's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Columbia City blew past Fort Wayne North Side 20-2.
 Columbia City got a great performance from  Braydon Green as he  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side,  Coleman Clark was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Brady Schroeder, who  went 1-for-3 with four  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 Meanwhile, Norwell waltzed into their game  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by  a  13-1 margin over the Vikings.
  Cade Shelton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Shelton was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Drew Graft was  excellent,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.  Drew Jolley was another key contributor,  going 1-for-1 with two  RBI.
 Columbia City's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Norwell, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 11 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record  this season.
 Tuesday's   matchup will be a test for both team's pitchers. Columbia City hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .346. However, it's not like Norwell struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .320. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
