After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Olton brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on the Sudan Hornets with a sharp 17-7 victory on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Olton's record now sits at 6-12. As for Sudan, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 15-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olton will host Hale Center at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Sudan, they will square off against New Deal at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
