Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday James Partida stepped things up a notch to give Carter the 'W'. Partida scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Partida's strong effort led Carter over Eisenhower and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are 8-1 against the Eagles going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
