Basketball Game Preview: Castlemont Knights vs. Fremont Tigers

Castlemont hasn't had much luck against Fremont recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Castlemont Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Fremont Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Castlemont has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests.

Castlemont played against McClymonds and lost via forfeit.

Last Friday, Fremont was fully in charge, breezing past Skyline 83-46. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Titans are ranked 918th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fremont pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Castlemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
