Softball Recap: Cobden Takes a Loss

Cobden fell victim to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Fighting Cardinals, falling 15-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Appleknockers were not able to get on the board.

Cobden now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Coming up, Cobden will square off against Vienna at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, they will be playing at home against Gallatin County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
