Soccer Game Preview: Perris vs. Rubidoux

The Perris Panthers will take on the Rubidoux Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Perris has three straight victories, Rubidoux has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

If Perris beats Rubidoux with eight goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Perris was the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over Loma Linda Academy on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three games by five goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Rubidoux's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to Bloomington.

Rubidoux's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Perris, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-1.
