Volleyball Recap: Grady Takes a Loss

Grady lost against Logan back in October and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bronchos fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 3-2. The Bronchos' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Grady ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 12 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 23-25, 22-25, 15-12.

Logan was led to victory by Mylee Stone and Joyce Salvador/Jones. Stone had 12 digs and one assist, while Salvador/Jones had ten digs and five aces. What's more, Salvador/Jones racked up 28 assists, the most she's had since back in October.

Grady's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Logan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Grady has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Des Moines on the 13th. As for Logan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Springer on the 13th.
