Football Recap: Lewisburg Patriots vs. Hernando Tigers

Lewisburg extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They lost 52-31 to the Hernando Tigers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 8, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Despite the loss, Lewisburg saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaysen Wiggins threw for 327 yards and one TD while picking up 10.5 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 49 yards and one touchdown.
