Softball Game Preview: Saks Wildcats vs. Wadley Bulldogs

The Saks Wildcats will head out to square off against the Wadley Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Saks is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Saks duked it out with Wellborn on Tuesday. Saks lost 12-4 to Wellborn.

Kendal Harris was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylah Welch, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Wadley fell victim to Woodland and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 15-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Wadley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Wadley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Saks hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .388.
