Basketball Game Preview: Berean Christian vs. Knoxville Christian Knights

Berean Christian are taking a road trip to take on the Knoxville Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berean Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.7 points per game this season.

On Monday, Berean Christian blew past Knoxville A, posting a 77-30 victory. Berean Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 32 points or more this season.

Connor Copeland was his usual excellent self, putting up 24 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Josh Myers was another key player, posting 12 points.

Meanwhile, Knoxville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch back in January as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 75-33 loss at the hands of Foundation Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 419th in Tennessee, while the Falcons are ranked 193rd in Kentucky).

Berean Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Knoxville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Berean Christian against Knoxville Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 93-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Berean Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
