Soccer Game Preview: Glenn vs. Marshall

The Glenn Grizzlies will be taking part in a tournament against the Marshall Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Glenn's tournament run continued when they took on Cornerstone Christian on Friday. The Grizzlies came up short against the Warriors, falling 4-1. Glenn were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Meanwhile, Marshall came up short against Belton on Friday and fell 3-1. Marshall have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-2.

Glenn was able to grind out a solid victory over Marshall in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, winning 4-2. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
