Volleyball Recap: Bryan Station Starts Season with Win Against Lexington Christian

Bryan Station gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lexington Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Defenders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Bryan Station had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Bryan Station found their leader in sophomore Lily Howard, who had 14 digs and five assists.

Lexington Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bryan Station has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Rhea County on the 22nd. As for Lexington Christian, they will be playing at home against Scott County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
