Volleyball Recap: Hays' Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rouse, Hays was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Glenn Grizzlies. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win back in September.

The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Hays got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brianna Rodriguez out in front who had 20 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Rodriguez has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Angela Huffman, who had seven digs and three aces.

Hays was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are a perfect 10-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Despite the loss, Glenn still got an impressive performance from Briley Camp, who had 25 assists and eight digs.

With the win, Hays broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 19-22. As for Glenn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-25 record this season.

As of now, neither Hays nor Glenn have any future games scheduled.
