Soccer Recap: Box Elder Comes Up Short

Box Elder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Roy Royals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bees of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Box Elder's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Roy, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Box Elder will challenge Woods Cross at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Box Elder has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Roy, they will square off against Bountiful at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bountiful will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Roy surely won't give up without a fight.
