Baseball Recap: Autauga Academy Takes a Loss

Autauga Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wetumpka Indians.

Autauga Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Wetumpka, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-9.

Coming up, Autauga Academy will host Billingsley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Autauga Academy's pitchers better be ready for this one: Billingsley has averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Wetumpka, they have already played their next game, a 14-1 defeat against Holtville on the 29th.
