Soccer Game Preview: Fort Lupton vs. Alameda

The Fort Lupton Bluedevils will face off against the Alameda Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Lupton has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 13.

Fort Lupton is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against DSST: Conservatory Green on Monday. The Bluedevils lost 3-0 to the Hornets.

Meanwhile, Alameda unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of STEM School Highlands Ranch by a score of 4-3. Alexa Andrade probably wasn't too happy after the game: she scored every single goal for Alameda and still walked away on the losing team.

Fort Lupton's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Alameda, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-2.

Fort Lupton took their victory against Alameda when the teams last played back in April of 2019 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bluedevils repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
