Football Recap: Neshaminy's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Central Bucks West came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Neshaminy, but Michael Eckart wouldn't allow it. The Skins walked away with a 28-18 victory over the Bucks on Friday for which the team can thank Eckart, who rushed for 127 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 170 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards.

Neshaminy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Corey Keenoy-Webb, Dan McGarrity, and Owen Swartz, who each picked up one sack apiece.

The win (which was Neshaminy's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. As for Central Bucks West, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neshaminy will welcome Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Skins' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Central Bucks West, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pennsbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
