Soccer Game Preview: Ringgold vs. Allatoona

The Ringgold Tigers will square off against the Allatoona Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Ringgold came out on top against Adairsville by a score of 3-1. Will Burgess had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Ringgold.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Allatoona, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past North Cobb 5-2 on Tuesday. Allatoona might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

Allatoona pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those seven games. As for Ringgold, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
