Soccer Recap: Denver West Comes Up Short

Denver West was the 2-1 winner over Rocky Mountain Prep SMART when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cowboys fell just short of the Ocelotls by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. One thing that didn't help Denver West's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Miguel Torres.

Denver West's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-1-2 record this season.

Denver West has already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against DSST: College View on the 9th. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against DSST: Cedar on the 10th.
