Volleyball Recap: Intermountain Christian Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Intermountain Christian took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Rowland Hall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Winged Lions on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Intermountain Christian who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 15-25, 15-12.

Intermountain Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Rowland Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Coincidentally, Intermountain Christian and Rowland Hall will both be playing Maeser Prep Academy the next time they take the court. The Winged Lions will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
