Baseball Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Central Valley's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to the Tokay Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Tokay, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-9.

Central Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-1 victory against Johansen on the 1st. As for Tokay, they will face off against Chavez at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Tigers' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Titans have been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road.
