Thousand Oaks won the last time they faced Agoura and things went their way on Friday too. The Lancers had just enough and edged out the Chargers 3-2.

Thousand Oaks had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-9.

Thousand Oaks' win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Agoura, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Thousand Oaks will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Newbury Park at 6:30 p.m. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Agoura, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Calabasas at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
