Basketball Recap: Cashton Takes a Loss

Cashton has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. The matchup between them and the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs didn't end well, with the Cashton Eagles falling 60-43. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Cashton's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Melrose-Mindoro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Cashton has already played their next game (against Necedah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Melrose-Mindoro will take on Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
