Football Game Preview: Scotland/Menno Trappers vs. Hill City Rangers

The Scotland/Menno Trappers will face off against the Hill City Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scotland/Menno has given up an average of 36.2 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-16, which was the final score in Scotland/Menno's tilt against Alcester-Hudson on Friday. The Trappers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Kadoka kept up with Hill City until halftime two weeks ago, but afterwards: not so much. The Rangers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 51-16 victory over the Kougars. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 31 points or more this season.

Hill City pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Scotland/Menno, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
