Volleyball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Georgetown-Ridge Farm and Paris had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Buffaloes fell 2-0 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buffaloes of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Milee Ellis and Addisen Ellis, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Rubyrae Fraser-Soule and her nine assists. Madi Spesard and Hadlee Hayes kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Paris, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm and Paris will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Buffaloes are set to challenge their familiar foe Milford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Paris will face off against rival Casey-Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
