Baseball Recap: South Holt Falls to West Platte in First Game of Season

South Holt had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the West Platte Bluejays by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

South Holt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Medsker, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Looking ahead, South Holt will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Plattsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Platte, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge King City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
