Softball Recap: Shadow Ridge Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

While Shadow Ridge's win against Bingham wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Shadow Ridge never let Bingham get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Shadow Ridge's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aleana Aionaaka, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Ava Dungey also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Shadow Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Bingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-3.

The future could be bright for both Shadow Ridge and Bingham: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Shadow Ridge will try to hand Silverado their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bingham will look to extend Corner Canyon's five-game losing streak when they meet at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
