Basketball Recap: Syracuse Find Success

Syracuse posted their closest victory since December 12, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Louisville Lions 62-60. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Louisville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jase Ostblom, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Alex Sorensen, who had 15 points.

Syracuse's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-3. As for Louisville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Syracuse will challenge Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Louisville, they will face off against Fort Calhoun at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
