Basketball Recap: The Master's Academy Takes a Loss

The Master's Academy's game on Tuesday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a blow against the Christian Family Academy Fire, falling 67-35. The Lions have struggled against the Fire recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Logan Ramsey was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 23 en route to 28 points and six steals for Christian Family Academy. The team also got some help courtesy of Brantley Davis, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 18 points.

The Master's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Christian Family Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

The Master's Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Veritas Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025. After both having extra time off, Christian Family Academy and Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
