Softball Recap: Granbury Comes Up Short

Granbury fell victim to Aledo and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Bearcats. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Granbury's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for Aledo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Granbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aledo, they will venture away from home to take on Azle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bearcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
