Basketball Recap: St. Paul's Takes a Loss

St. Paul was the 58-39 winner over Warren Easton when they last played one another back in November of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Paul's Wolves took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles.

St. Paul's has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season. As for Warren Easton, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-31.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul's will welcome Frederick A. Douglass at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Frederick A. Douglass knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully St. Paul's likes a good challenge. As for Warren Easton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wright at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
