Softball Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clark can now relate to. They lost 14-6 to the East Central Hornets on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 22-12. As for East Central, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 32-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hornets beat Clark by a score of 15-0 later that day.
